a love story about the expansion of the universe
After Dark Circus*, the two genius craftsmen of the Stereoptik Company, Romain Bremond and Jean-Baptiste Maillet, explore the universe. An astrophysicist travels across the planet, from one conference about space-time to another. One day, she meets a painter who explores parallel universes.
Love at first sight and romantic big bang follow for these two characters as they begin their space journey under the eyes of the audience witnessing the magic of this extraordinary endeavour. A few drops of paint layed in an aquarium, a few drops of oil, chalk, charcoal, sand create a street, a seashore, the cosmos, the expansion of the universe, aliens, and of course the two lovers. And to go with all this, live or recorded pieces of music bringing a dreamy atmosphere to this unusual adventure.
