Life, still
This is a two, three, ten or twenty balls’ story. A story with sixteen hands. About two collectives from Lyon, Collectif Petit Travers (the jugglers) and the Ensemble TaCTuS (the percussionnists) who chose to bring together their practices to combine their disciplines, create ambiguity, search for their limits. Alone or in groups, in symetry or opposition, they imagine a juggled music score, perform together and play with the impelled tempo like throbbing balls. The wild and delicate drumming score, inspired by rock and experimental music, chants the syncopated paths of the balls. It can make the group march together or each one dance on its own.
Six vertical boards transform the space to reveal new acting rapports, new ways of interacting. In order to create life again, true life, full of mishaps and perfectly mastered surprises.
